Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Strategist to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering projects for our next-generation Air Traffic Management platform.

  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing technical projects involving cloud-native architectures and data engineering platforms.
  • A strong understanding of AWS services and data platforms such as Databricks, with the ability to engage confidently with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected Data Strategist will be responsible for defining scope, milestones, and delivery plans aligned with business objectives. This includes:

  1. Collaborating closely with engineering, data, and domain teams.
  2. Driving Agile/Scrum practices and ensuring transparency of progress and risks.
  3. Coordinating dependencies across batch and streaming pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on cloud-native architectures and data engineering platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured approach to risk and issue management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams, with proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures (e.g., Lakehouse) and AI/Gen AI initiatives.
