Job Description

As a Senior Credit Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping regional strategies for emerging business loan products. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating high-level strategies into actionable plans for countries across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Regional Emerging Business Loan "Global Design, Local Implementation" strategies and translate these into actionable country plans.
  • Ensure alignment of subsidiary CRM systems with Group CRM, providing oversight and guidance to subsidiaries on credit policy, framework, programs, procedures, products, and systems.
  • Pollinate best practices in credit risk management across the region.
  • Renew and disseminate Group Credit Policies to subsidiaries.
  • Support subsidiaries in achieving satisfactory credit risk reviews through oversight and sharing of regional findings.
Requirements

To succeed as a Senior Credit Strategist, you will require:

  • Minimum 6 years of credit or frontline experience with regional exposure.
  • Good understanding of small business banking products and industries, as well as portfolio and delinquency credit frameworks.
  • Ability to translate strategies into action plans and implement successfully.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective management and supervisory skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail.
  • Adaptive and sensitive to cultural requirements to achieve desired results.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and data analytics.
