
Principal Instrumentation and Control Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control engineering, with a focus on project delivery.
Job DescriptionThe Instrumentation and Control Engineer will be responsible for conducting instrumentation and control engineering activities, including site surveys, engineering studies, and detailed design. The successful candidate will also ensure that technical assurance practices, engineering standards, and environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in all work-scopes and activities.
The role will involve planning and coordinating activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers, as well as reviewing and approving method statements developed by contracted organisations. Additionally, the Instrumentation and Control Engineer will be responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring schedules for in-house engineering activities, and contributing to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent
- 10 years of relevant post graduate experience, out of which 6 years should be relatable to Oil and Gas industry
- Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and codes related to Instrumentation Engineering
- Proven ability to manage cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment
- Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English
