Job Objective:

The Operations Assistant Lead/Manager is a critical member of the team responsible for bringing the store's operational vision to life in the store.

This individual will work closely with the Operational & Visual Manager in initiating, delegating work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute inventory management processes effectively with a focus on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink.
  • Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the Brand and Operations & Visual Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
  • Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving, and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
  • Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
  • Ensure overall store equipment is in good condition and monitors all issue have been solved in a timely manner.

Business Leadership:

Partner with Operations Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure maintained and maximized.

Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.

People Leadership:

  • Leads by example and inspires staff in daily operations and guest experience.
  • Provides constant feedback to drive individual growth in partnership with the Brand and Operations & Visual Managers.
  • Use company performance tools to evaluate and drive improvement to the operational processes.

Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure cross-functional training and Sales & Service teams to ensure the business is well-executed.
  • Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.
  • Safeguard cash, assets, and store keys, ensuring adherence to company policies by all team members.
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-focused, sales-driven environment with demonstrated leadership abilities preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members, fostering individual and team growth.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building genuine connections.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to integrate fun into the workplace.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of excelling both individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
