Chief Budget Planner, Industrial Engineer

This role would be part of the IE team reporting to a Manager TD Planning.

The IE team supports the department with budget capital and operating expenditures.

Partnering globally with Engineering teams, Procurement, Finance, and Senior Leaders is expected to support the department's footprint.


Responsibilities:
  • Safety
  • Complete all required safety training and conduct work in accordance with safety policies
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Report safety-related concerns or problems to the appropriate individual
  • Audit and submit good catches on safety issues

Collaboration
  • Partner closely with stakeholders on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings regularly
  • Provide regular updates to senior Leadership

Project Management/Planning
  • Design and coordinate projects with several departments
  • Create timelines with milestones for complex tasks and projects
  • Minimize duplication through effective planning
  • Adjust plans based on execution and factors in capabilities when setting plans

Technical/Data Analysis
  • Apply IE concepts and statistical analysis
  • Create innovative data solutions using IE knowledge
  • Evaluate what-if scenarios representing changes to metrics
  • Analyze and interpret internal and external data sources
  • Develop methods for testing and tracking and measuring data

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management (POM), equivalent degree, or relevant experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex problems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in an Engineering Field
  • Demonstrated engineering internship
  • Minimum 5 years within TPG or MFG planning, budget, or process functions
