Job Description

We are seeking a professional to join our kitchen team at Jewel Changi Airport. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for assisting chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, and ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients and supplies.

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, and peeling ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas, including cooking stations, equipment, and utensils.
  • Perform dishwashing duties, including cleaning dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and supplies.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries.
  • Perform simple cooking tasks under supervision if needed, such as frying and grilling.
  • Ensure food safety standards at all times.
  • Support overall kitchen operations during busy periods.
Requirements
  • Prior experience is preferred.
  • Those with no experience are welcome to apply, but must be willing to learn, have initiative, and be hardworking.
  • The ability to follow and understand instructions.
  • Good personality and time management skills.
  • The ability to carry heavy loads (around 5kg - 10kg).
  • Willingness to work at Changi Airport.
