Job Description

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore's Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage logistic activities within the QC department, ensuring receipt and storage of samples in accordance with local procedures.
  • Perform routine and non-routine sampling of raw materials and utilities, adhering to GMP requirements.
  • Ensure proper packaging of samples and timely shipment to offsite recipients.
  • Maintain a good inventory of QC materials, ensuring no overstocking or surplus.
  • Dispose of wastes appropriately and promptly.
  • Practice 6S and maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory, work area, and equipment.
  • Support equipment calibration and maintenance, perform autoclave requalification, and washing machine verification.
  • Perform peer review for verification of tasks and data.
  • Participate in laboratory investigations and assist in timely closure of investigations and CAPAs.
  • Ensure proper archival of submitted documents for easy retrieval.
  • Identify and report problems in QC to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all safety and security policies and practices.
  • Manage ad-hoc support tasks.
  • Assist the QC support manager in the management and operations of the team.
  • Schedule day-to-day shopfloor activities and resources handling to ensure timely sample and material management.
  • Provide training to the team.
  • Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to the team.
  • Involves in investigation and protocol and report writing (when required).
  • Involves in SOP writing and updating.
Requirements:
  • For QC Support Technologist: Fresh graduate of NITEC, Diploma in Science (or equivalent).
  • For Senior QC Support Technologist: Graduate of NITEC, Diploma in Science (or equivalent) with at least 4 years of experience/Degree holder with at least 2 years of working experience.
  • For Lead QC Support Technologist: Graduate of NITEC, Diploma in Science (or equivalent) with at least 8 years of experience/Degree holder with at least 4 years of working experience.
Skills:
  • Competent technical skills in good laboratory knowledge and hands-on experience in inventory management.
  • Knowledge of cGLP & cGMP.
  • Basic report writing skills (preferably with legible handwriting).
  • Basic planning and organizing skills (for individual time management and work planning).
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Effective report writing skills.
