We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planning Manager to join our team at Recruit Express Pte Ltd. in the role of Executive, FMCG Materials Management. This position is responsible for planning and managing inventory levels to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement monthly and ad-hoc purchase plans to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and track stock movements into and between warehouses to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise inventory system updates to maintain accurate records.
- Create purchase orders and ensure timely submission.
- Track PO fulfilment and highlight major supply issues.
- Review inventory holdings with Client Management team and follow up on clearance of excess inventory.
- Suggest ways to avoid or minimize excess inventory holding.
- Prepare timely and accurate inventory reports and KPIs.
- Comply with SOP & company policies.
**Leadership Responsibilities:**
- For senior executive positions, lead junior staff and provide guidance.
**Functional Skills and Knowledge:**
- Demonstrate understanding of inventory planning methodologies and systems.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of distribution centers, distribution, and transport.
- Experience in inventory management, procurement systems, and logistics operations.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP - material requirements planning (MRP) system.
- Demonstrate good analytical and quantitative skills.
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
