Job Overview

We are inviting applications for Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) position in the area of Coastal Protection Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely-related discipline, with expertise in coastal science/engineering, environmental fluid mechanics, or hydraulic engineering.

The ideal candidate will have excellent teaching ability, communication skills, and industry experience. A PhD degree in the relevant field is required, and previous academic credentials post PhD in these areas will be highly preferred. In addition, candidates with qualifications to become a professional engineer in Singapore will have an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Civil Engineering
  • Mentor students and supervise research projects
  • Conduct research in Coastal Protection Engineering
  • Publish research papers in top-tier journals

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely-related discipline
