Job Title

A key player in fashion retail is sought to spearhead product development, merchandising and sales strategies.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and a keen eye for trends. Experience in fashion retail or luxury industry is desirable, but not essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Product Development: Conduct market research, analyse fashion trends and work closely with the design team to conceptualise seasonal collections.
  • Merchandising & Inventory: Develop and manage product assortments tailored to different retail channels, monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimise stock turnover.
  • Sales & Performance: Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising reports, analysing sales data to drive decision-making and partner with sales/marketing teams to align product launches with campaigns and promotions.
  • Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and production teams to ensure timely product delivery, negotiate costs, lead times and quality standards with vendors.
  • Visual Merchandising & Brand Alignment: Ensure in-store and online product presentation aligns with brand image and seasonal stories, support pop-up stores, exhibitions and promotional events with curated displays.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in merchandising, fashion retail or luxury industry (fresh graduates welcome).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, creative and results-driven team player.
