As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction site complies with all relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, guidelines, and codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site safety protocols are up-to-date and compliant with local regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards on site.
  • Develop and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Monitor and review risk assessments regularly.
  • Perform daily site inspections and conduct periodic safety audits.
  • Ensure all equipment and machinery are in safe working condition.
  • Organize and conduct safety training sessions for site personnel.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, or near-misses to determine their cause and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain all safety records, including inspection logs, safety training records, and incident reports.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • Relevant Certificates (e.g. Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course / BCSS).
  • Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course, Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course, WAH Supervisor course, and Occupational First Aid Course (OFA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights, as required.
