
Career Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a driven Career Solutions Specialist who is passionate about partnering with individuals in their job search journey. The role involves working in a team to improve their career health and employability.
The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals, actively seeking ways to improve the team's performance. They will work collaboratively to secure job vacancies for jobseekers who approach Careers Connect for employment assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the performance of a team of professionals
- Inculcate professional conduct and compliance with industry standards
- Provide thought leadership on hiring and jobseeker trends to various stakeholders
- Design, develop, and deliver new initiatives to enhance job matching effectiveness
- Create monitoring systems to analyse the effectiveness of job matching efforts
- Evaluate processes to ensure operational and service excellence
Employer Engagement and Relationship Management
- Stay updated on labour market trends and employment landscape to provide insights to clients and jobseekers
- Scan the employment landscape, including professional networks, to identify suitable vacancies for registered jobseekers
- Engage with employers and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and secure vacancies for Careers Connect
Advocate for Jobseekers to Employers
- Collaborate with colleagues to profile jobseekers for employers, including resume enhancement
- Pitch jobseekers to employers and secure interview opportunities
- Prepare shortlisted jobseekers for interviews in collaboration with colleagues
- Follow up on interview outcomes and address concerns to improve chances of securing offers
- Gather and share feedback from employers and hiring managers for continuous improvement
- Participate in events to promote job matching services among jobseekers and employers
Requirements
- At least 10 years' experience in business development, human resources, or recruitment, including 3+ years in supervisory roles
- Strong network and proven track record of securing job placements in relevant industries
- Self-motivated, resourceful, persuasive, with good business acumen
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in service excellence or CRM is a plus
- Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI) is advantageous
- Ability to converse in Mother Tongues is advantageous
