Fire Protection Systems Specialist

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with experience in mechanical and electrical systems? We are seeking a highly motivated Fire Protection Systems Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the optimal performance of fire protection systems.

As a Fire Protection Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on fire protection systems and associated mechanical and electrical equipment. This will include diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing necessary repairs and replacements, and ensuring optimal performance of the systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on fire protection systems and associated mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire protection systems and associated mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Perform necessary repairs and replacements of defective items to ensure optimal performance of fire protection systems.
  • Manage customer site locations and replacement needs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Preferred background in fire protection safety.
  • Able to start work immediately.
  • Class 3 driving license (2 years' experience).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with clients and write technical reports.
  • Responsible with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to correspond via email.
  • Competent, meticulous, and committed.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, control panels, and water tanks.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
