Environmental Design Consultant

At our organisation, we're seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role in environmental design. This individual will be responsible for providing expert consultancy services in various aspects of environmental design, including sustainability benchmarking and implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, sustainable designs that meet or exceed client expectations. They should also possess strong technical skills, including expertise in building energy optimisation, daylight and shading design, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and has excellent communication skills. The ability to prioritise tasks, think strategically, and work effectively in a team environment is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a field related to building engineering, environmental building design, architectural engineering, building services engineering, or building science
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership
- 5+ years' experience in an engineering or sustainability consulting firm
- Proven track record of leading and executing dynamic thermal modelling and energy modelling analysis
- Experience in daylight modelling, CFD, parametric modelling, and programming
- Proficiency in IES VE, Radiance, and Microsoft Excel
