Medical Laboratory Technologist Opportunity

Job Description:

    As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory services. Your primary responsibilities include receiving and processing cellular products, performing procedures according to laboratory protocols, and interpreting results of internal and external quality assurance procedures.

    In addition to these core duties, you will also be responsible for undertaking simple preventative maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, complying with good laboratory practice, and keeping current with new instrumentation, techniques, and procedures through workshops, seminars, and in-service education classes.

    You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that all laboratory activities are carried out efficiently and effectively, providing high-quality laboratory services to both internal and external customers.

Job Requirements:
  • * BSc in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
  • * Good laboratory skills
  • * Above average dexterity with good general health and no colour blindness
  • * Basic computer literacy
  • * Good planning and organizational skills
  • * Good communication and interpersonal skills. Service orientated and customer focused.
