Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chief Security Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective security protocols to safeguard personnel, assets, and property. Your expertise will encompass physical security systems, risk assessments, threat & vulnerability assessments, and compliance with local laws and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security protocols to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and property.
- Oversight and coordination of external security agencies and deployment of security officers.
- Monitoring and addressing security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Conducting risk assessments, threat & vulnerability assessments, gap analysis, and site audits to evaluate and improve security measures.
- Drafting, implementing, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for security operations.
Security Infrastructure and Systems
Your responsibilities will also include designing, installing, and maintaining physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. You will identify and rectify deficiencies in existing security infrastructure to maintain functionality and compliance. Additionally, you will plan and execute upgrades or modifications to security systems and infrastructure, evaluating advancements in physical security technology and recommending improvements.
Documentation and Compliance
You will prepare and maintain all security-related documentation, such as incident reports, risk assessments, and compliance records. Your role will involve ensuring that all security operations and infrastructure comply with local laws, regulations, and corporate policies. You will provide detailed reports and updates to the Head of EHSS regarding security operations and incidents, maintaining accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and system updates.
RBA and SAAC Responsibilities
In this role, you will ensure compliance with anti-corruption policies and RBA Code of Conduct requirements within security operations and the broader supply chain. Your responsibilities will include managing documentation and preparation for RBA audits, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions to address non-compliance findings. You will support anti-corruption training and awareness programs for internal teams, suppliers, and vendors, monitoring and reporting progress on RBA-related compliance activities to the Head of EHSS.
Stakeholder Coordination
As a Chief Security Operations Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to address security concerns and implement solutions. You will liaise with external security agencies, suppliers, and vendors to ensure their compliance with security and anti-corruption requirements. Additionally, you will serve as the point of contact for regulatory authorities and auditors during compliance inspections and RBA audits.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Security Management, Engineering, EHS, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Significant experience in physical security operations, infrastructure management, and stakeholder coordination is essential. Your expertise in physical security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems, will be highly valued. A background in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) is strongly preferred, as is proficiency in preparing and managing security documentation, including compliance reports. Familiarity with RBA standards, corporate security, and anti-corruption practices is also desirable. Certifications in relevant security or EHS fields (e.g., CPP, PSP, NEBOSH, WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH) are an advantage.
