Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SSR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily landscape maintenance duties, ensuring high-quality results, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy Manpower: Supervise and coordinate the deployment of staff for daily landscape maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Urgent Cases: Respond promptly to urgent landscape maintenance situations, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Scheduling: Develop and implement schedules for daily landscape maintenance, taking into account weather conditions, staff availability, and project requirements.
  • Machinery and Equipment: Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment, including hedge trimmers, chainsaws, long arm pruners, blowers, and other tools.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, protecting staff and customers from potential hazards.
  • Horticulture Maintenance: Demonstrate expertise in horticulture maintenance, including pruning methods, watering, fertilizing, weeding, mulching, planting, and plant removal.
  • Landscape Projects: Collaborate with landscape designers, supervisors, salespersons, and customers to review and implement landscape projects, adhering to contractual requirements.
  • Crew Supervision: Supervise and mentor staff on landscape projects, ensuring high-quality results and efficient project delivery.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
  • Dynamic and Energetic: Possess a dynamic and energetic approach to work, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate excellent teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Horticulture or Arborist Knowledge: Prefer candidates with knowledge of horticulture or arboriculture, with a strong understanding of plant care and maintenance.
  • On-the-Job Training: Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Working Hours and Office Location
  • Working Hours: 5.5-day work week, with flexible hours to accommodate project requirements.
  • Office Location: Mandai Estate, with the possibility of working on various sites.
