Allied Health Systems Specialist

This role involves providing comprehensive operational and informatics systems support for allied health departments.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and upgrade schedules to ensure timely execution of tasks. Coordinate with vendors and department users to achieve this.
- Prepare annual IT work plans in collaboration with department leads and operations personnel. Facilitate acquisition and implementation of relevant systems.
- Manage IT planning and execution for allied health departments in future campus settings.
- Train staff on EPIC modules and provide training to new users.
- Analyze and address EPIC change requests from users. Implement build changes to meet user requirements or resolve root causes.
- Oversee integrations between internal and external systems. Ensure seamless data flow and functionality while adhering to security requirements.
- Contribute to the strategic development of departments' systems and applications in cloud environments. Leverage Synapxe/private solutions to optimize service delivery and achieve long-term cost-effectiveness.
- Upgrade existing IT systems to meet new demands. Collaborate with key staff in supported departments to automate workflow using IT solutions whenever possible.
- Maintain and administer departmental servers, workstations and printers in LAN environments.
- Purchase and implement computer systems and accessories.
