Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Therapist to join our team at Autism Association (Singapore). As an Autism Therapist, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of individuals with autism through comprehensive assessment, dedicated support, and innovative training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment: Conduct functional behaviour analysis, develop Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs), and conduct screening assessments related to school admission, vocational, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) related assessments.
  • Intervention: Plan and execute intervention programmes for students with autism in group or individual settings, coach key partners to apply educational and behavioural techniques, and provide behavior management support to students.
  • Leadership Duties: Articulate the Autism Therapist's role, scope, and responsibilities to teachers, administrators, and families, positively influence the development of programs and policies, and establish professional linkages to national and international Psychology Professional bodies.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor in Psychology (Honours) or Masters in Educational Psychology or equivalent.
  • Desire to learn about Autism and passion to serve the autism community and their families.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes and different perspectives.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
