Software Development Expert

The role of a Software Development Expert involves designing, architecting and implementing microservices using Java 8/11, Spring Boot and RESTful APIs. Key responsibilities include creating scalable, secure and fault-tolerant systems deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

This position requires extensive experience with messaging brokers, data modeling, DevOps integration and technical documentation. A solid understanding of distributed system design, scalability and resilience is necessary to drive sprint deliverables and mentor junior engineers.

  • Design and Implement Microservices: Utilize Java 8/11, Spring Boot and RESTful APIs to create efficient and scalable systems.
  • Build Scalable Systems: Deploy on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Work with Messaging Brokers: Integrate distributed systems using RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or Kafka.
  • Lead DevOps Integration: Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Git and enforce code quality gates with SonarQube, VeraCode, Fortify.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development: Use JUnit, TestNG, WireMock and automation tools like Selenium.
  • Enforce Best Practices: Ensure secure coding practices, code reviews and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Drive sprint deliverables and mentor junior engineers in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements:

  • 12+ Years of Experience: Enterprise software development across SDLC with hands-on experience.
  • Expertise in Java/J2EE: Proven expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Microservices.
  • Practical Knowledge: Deep practical knowledge of AWS services and DevOps tools.
  • Cloud-Native Experience: Experience in cloud-native deployments, containerization and monitoring like Docker, Splunk, New Relic.
  • Secure Coding Practices: Strong background in secure coding practices, CI/CD automation and test-driven development.
  • Distributed System Design: Solid understanding of distributed system design, scalability and resilience.
