Job Title:
Senior Application Operations Specialist

About the Role:
The Senior Application Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of applications, providing level 3 support, and working closely with the BA and application support team to minimize business disruption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide L3 operation support for in-scope systems
  • Work on shift arrangement to support 24x7 operations
  • Monitor batch operation jobs and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor application health based on runbook
  • Attend to system alerts and follow SOP to resolve and escalate to SME support
  • Recover job or application service based on runbook
  • Ensure high-quality activities within the support and incident process
  • Attend to incident tickets and escalate to Level 2 support for service recovery
  • Report on application health status and trending
  • Maintain and update Runbook documents

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Technology, Electronic, Electrical, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting application operation, BA
  • Application monitoring experience
  • Batch operation support experience

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Windows, Linux, Unix, Cloud Platform (AWS), database, and middleware
  • Familiarity with application programming languages such as Java, .Net
