Job Title: Ship Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Ship Electrician to join our team at The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out field service attendances to troubleshoot and repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics, and Davits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot and repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics, and Davits.
  • Min 2-3 years' experience sailing as Electrical Officer on bulkers equipped with deck cranes and has carried out troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses & other hydraulic systems on board.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes & hydraulic machinery.
  • Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  • Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage, and in Shipyards.
  • Able to write technical reports and able to communicate with owners' representatives.
  • Previous employment as service engineer with one of the leading deck crane manufacturers will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) will be an added advantage.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Min 2-3 years' experience sailing as Electrical Officer on bulkers equipped with deck cranes.
