**Operations Trainee Technician Role Summary**

The Operations Trainee Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe execution of all operations and day-to-day activities in the terminal. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform daily operations safely in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rules and procedures and adhere to them at all times.
  • Dismantle, tag, and prepare process equipment for repair and maintenance.
  • Ensure timely reporting of incidents to management.
  • Adhere to basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and personal wellbeing.
  • Practice safety protocols at all times.
  • Evaluate operational activities against regulatory and company standards.
  • Deliver customer expectations in a timely manner.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Entry-level position requiring ITE or vocational education or diploma equivalent.
  • Familiarity with petroleum and chemical products handled and terminal operating systems.
  • Familiarity with terminal operations work and technical skills.
  • Familiarity with terminal equipment and assets.
  • Familiarity with fire-fighting and emergency procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements.
