Automation Expert

We are seeking an Automation Expert to join our Digital Manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of smart manufacturing.

You will identify automation opportunities in our facilities and partner with vendors to design and integrate robotic solutions. You will develop control programs and maintenance practices for our robotic systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing current robotics deployment and identifying prioritized cross-Fabs automation opportunities
  • Discussing with stakeholders to clearly understand their needs and expectations related to leveraging automation and robotics to optimize business processes
  • Integrating the latest automation technologies and formulating a coherent smart robotic and automation roadmap
  • Screening and selecting vendors/partners to deliver automation and robotics capabilities and solutions
  • Partnering with IT, solution providers and Fabs to design and integrate robotic systems

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in robotics and industrial automation within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of robotics concepts including capability assessment, programming and control, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Proven experience in AI/Machine Learning applied to robotics
