Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for supervising and training security team members, deputizing the reporting manager, and working in partnership with other departments to ensure operational matters are resolved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train security team members in specific roles and responsibilities.
  • Deputize the reporting manager, as required.
  • Work in partnership with other departments to ensure operational matters are resolved.
  • Ensure optimum guest service through the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Manage attendance issues of security team members, including approval of amendments to time sheets and rosters, as required.
  • Assist in the conduct of daily security briefings/debriefs.
  • Ensure timely completion of investigations of incidents and complaints.
  • Conduct performance appraisal reviews for security officers, as required.
  • Maintain professional skills by staying abreast of current developments and participating in developmental programs.
  • Perform other tasks within the IR, including CAT B Special Employee License tasks, as directed by the Vice President, Security Service Department.

Requirements

  • Preferably a diploma holder or equivalent.
  • Preferably with experience in the military or police.
  • Able to work shifts.
  • Good knowledge of security operations.
  • Strong leadership skills and good organizational ability.
  • Resourceful and a team player with good interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Exhibit leadership skills and good organizational ability.

  • Must have attained at least PLRD Security Supervisor Grade.
  • Must possess a valid Special Employee License during employment.
