Job Title: Infant Care Teacher

At The Orange Tree (CCK) Pte Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant Care Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Care Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our infants to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Infant Safety: Constantly supervise infants, arrange spaces effectively, and maintain equipment to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Lead the Infant Care Team: Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality care and create a positive team dynamic.
  • Implement Daily Care Routines: Carry out daily care activities with a focus on consistent infant development principles.
  • Provide Engaging Play and Learning Experiences: Design and implement creative play and learning activities that promote individual expression and conversation.
  • Develop Care Plans: Create planned schedules for infants' physical activities, play, and rest.
  • Monitor and Document Development: Observe, assess, and document each assigned child's health, skills, and growth development.
  • Report Progress: Complete bi-annual assessments and report progress to parents in a clear and concise manner.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Establish and maintain positive daily communication with parents of infants under your care.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all information and intellectual property of the centre.
  • Safe and Healthy Environment: Provide a healthy and safe environment for infants to feel secure and comfortable.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate competence in ECDA licensing and regulatory standards and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: ACEY / HCIC / CIT Certificate
  • Leadership Skills: Must possess leadership skills and the ability to lead a team.
