Culinary Specialist

About Our Kitchen Team:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional Japanese cuisine to our customers.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a kitchen or F&B setting, with a passion for cooking and willingness to learn Japanese culinary techniques. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to menu and standards.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand expectations.
  • Assist with food prep, cutting, portioning, and plating.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
  • Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Support inventory checks and proper storage of ingredients.
  • Work closely with kitchen team and service crew to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
  • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or F&B setting preferred (Japanese cuisine experience is a plus).
  • Passion for cooking and willingness to learn Japanese culinary techniques.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
