Lead Young Children Educator

    The position of Lead Young Children Educator is available at our esteemed organization. As a highly qualified and experienced educator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional learning experiences to young children.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Planning and Implementation:

        Design and implement age-appropriate curricula with a strong understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and pedagogy. Develop activities that cater to the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children.

  2. Learning Environment:

        Create a conducive and quality learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and active learning. Ensure the learning spaces are well-maintained, organized, and equipped with appropriate resources.

  3. Classroom Management:

        Practice effective and respectful classroom management strategies to create a structured and positive atmosphere. Address behavioral challenges with empathy and professionalism.

  4. Child Development and Assessment:

        Regularly update children's progress reports and maintain comprehensive portfolios for each child. Provide meaningful insights and recommendations on each child's development through observations and assessments.

  5. Parent and Family Engagement:

        Build trusting and positive relationships with parents through regular, transparent communication. Establish effective home-centre partnerships to support the child's learning and development.

  6. Child Interaction:

        Foster respectful, trusting, and nurturing interactions with children to build strong educator-child relationships. Model positive behavior and social-emotional skills to promote a supportive learning environment.

  7. Team Collaboration:

        Collaborate effectively with colleagues to build a positive and productive working environment. Share resources, strategies, and best practices to enhance team performance.

  8. Compliance and Professionalism:

        Adhere to regulatory requirements and standards for early childhood care and education. Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the ethical standards of the teaching profession.

    This role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent) and/or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). Passionate working with young children and fostering their development is essential. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are also required.
