Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining IT operations, accelerating deployment lifecycles, and enabling platform scalability across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional teams to deploy and implement modern IT automation solutions.
Develop, test, and deploy infrastructure playbooks using tools such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Terraform.
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to define automation requirements.
Document playbooks, workflows, automation processes, and reusable modules.
Troubleshoot and support existing automation frameworks and scripts.
Perform maintenance and support tasks, including troubleshooting, incident response, and patching.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years of experience in automation, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible AAP, Terraform, and playbook development.
Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes (on-prem or managed), preferably RedHat OpenShift.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and YAML.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.), and automation best practices.
Familiarity with YAML, Jinja2 templates, REST APIs, JSON/XML.
Basic understanding of network architectures and configuration workflows.
Proven experience with network automation is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
