Job Title: QA Assistant F&B | Boon Lay

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Assistant to join our team at The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. As a QA Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and process in our production, supply chain, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and daily checks on food safety, hygiene, quality, process, and general guidelines of Halal requirements in production, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Prepare and maintain food safety, hygiene, quality, and process documentation.
  • Perform daily periodic site walks of the whole facility.
  • Conduct retention samples checks.
  • Coordinate with microbiological laboratories for sample collection and lab reports.
  • Follow-up with procurement on investigation and corrective actions on raw material complaints and customer feedback.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in internal audits.
  • Support external customer and regulatory audits, including FSSC 22000 and 3rd party supplier assessments.
  • Prepare and liaise with warehouse teams on export procedures, such as placement of temperature data logger devices.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and liaise with external vendors for routine servicing and issue follow-up, including pest control, cleaning chemicals, weighing scales, metal detectors, and microbiological laboratories.
  • Provide support to customers' requests, including questionnaires, product specifications, shelf-life lab test reports, and investigation reports.
  • Assist in training preparation, coordination with HODs on training schedules, and conduct training sessions.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the QA Manager.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma / Degree, Food & Beverage Services Management, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Relevant experience in the Food & Beverage industry is an advantage.
