Role Overview

The Senior Barista is a key position that plays a pivotal role in the success of our cafe. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual who can lead, mentor, and inspire others to achieve exceptional results.

We are seeking a charismatic and customer-focused Senior Barista who can provide an unparalleled experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for delivering high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Guiding and mentoring Junior Baristas in front-of-house operations, customer service, and food and beverage preparation.
  • Supporting the overall upkeep of the cafe, ensuring the serving area remains clean and organized, equipment is fully operational, and inventories are well maintained.
  • Engaging with customers warmly, listening attentively, and assisting promptly when they step into the cafe.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting F&B service environment.
  • Preparing and serving menu beverages consistently, educating customers on drink differences, preparation techniques, and coffee knowledge.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the specialty coffee scene.
  • Possess a valid food handler certificate.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and well in English.
  • Able to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Knowledge in using a coffee machine, dosing, brewing, calibrating, and coffee tasting.
