About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Enterprise Solutions Expert to support the execution and implementation of system enhancements in Life Operations.

  • The ideal candidate will be actively involved in delivering and implementing strategic initiatives and BAU enhancements of digital platforms requested by business partners.
  • They will conduct thorough analyses of end-to-end business processes, systems, and data related to operations.
  • The selected individual will drive requirement workshops to gather requirements, identify business needs, define project/enhancement scope, and ensure comprehensive business requirements that meet changing business needs.
  • Key responsibilities include facilitating and prioritizing changes with users and other key parties to prevent delays in launch timelines.
  • They will ensure business requirements are clearly articulated, translated, and documented for efficient delivery.
  • The successful candidate will evaluate alternative high-level solutions with Information Technology and make recommendations to users.
  • They will translate business requirements into test scenarios, conditions, and expected results for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Conducting/reviewing UAT and being responsible for UAT sign-off are essential tasks.
  • The selected individual will contribute to overall planning/re-planning of project timelines and resources, as well as effective monitoring of projects/BAU enhancements lifecycles.
  • Providing guidance to Analysts and Support Specialists is also required.
  • Preparing/reviewing training materials is an additional responsibility.
  • The role requires actively seeking continuous improvements in area of expertise and remaining relevant to the business.

Job Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Diploma or degree holder in Business IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and managing delivery of life/health insurance systems and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience as a business analyst with 3-5 years working experience in life insurance operations and knowledge in both operation and system areas are preferred.
  • Meticulous and able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Integral Life (Life 400/Asia AS400) background is preferred.
  • Experience in digital products or services (mobile or web).
  • Experience in Agile and waterfall project methodology.
  • Experience in UAT, following through defects resolution and ensuring all defects are resolved.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, challenging environments while attending to multiple projects.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated, able to take the initiative independently and work under minimal guidance/supervision.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to share and learn.
  • A great teammate.
