Kitchen Assistant Job Description

This role involves supporting the preparation of meals and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparation: Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping ingredients and portioning out meals.
  • Cleaning: Ensure dishes and kitchen equipment are thoroughly washed to meet cleanliness standards.
  • Environment Maintenance: Keep the kitchen organized and tidy by cleaning workstations and storage areas.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to Food Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Availability: Be willing to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Experience: No prior experience is required, though preference will be given to applicants with relevant Food Service background and/or Basic Food Hygiene certification.
  • Training: On-the-job training will be provided for those without prior experience in the field.
