Job Overview

Airport based Aircraft Technicians are sought to work with a dynamic team of professionals in the aviation industry. As an expert in aircraft maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and airworthiness of aircraft.

  • Relevant Nitec/diploma qualifications in Aerospace Technology or Aerospace Engineering are required.
  • A minimum 5 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full-time aircraft technician is mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Airframe Structures:

  • Repair, perform maintenance checks and modify the full range of aircraft structural components and body structures as per SRM.
  • Identify structural/airframe defects and determine the repairs required.

Sheetmetal Work:

  • Experience in fabricating airframe sheet metal parts, subsystem assemblies' components and performing operational checks.
  • Ability to interpret and use engineering drawings.

Aircraft Systems:

  • Able to inspect and repair aircraft systems, including avionics, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Airworthiness:

  • Ensure all aircraft repairs meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Maintenance Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime.

Troubleshooting:

  • Proactive troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • Nitec/diploma qualifications in Aerospace Technology or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full-time aircraft technician.
  • Independent and proactive problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, standbys, and 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
