This Is An IT Support Group is seeking a skilled Materials Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cross-functional planning processes that incorporate make versus buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, material, and associated cost elements.

You will analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to develop and execute build-to-order and build-to-forecast plans. Your expertise in coordinating with cross-functional business teams will enable you to develop best-cost strategies for production planning to support customer demand.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can establish and implement methods and best practices related to systems and processes that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control. You will also establish and manage production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress, and reviewing factors that affect schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on accuracy and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing an inventory control system capable of identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action.

You will develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth and sourcing requirements. This includes identifying, developing, and managing effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet established cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The successful candidate will establish, implement, and manage a system to evaluate, monitor, and report supplier scorecard performance. Additionally, you will coordinate and work with quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedules to proactively identify and address any issues.
