About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Major Accounts Division in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting insurance products and growing the portfolio of our Property and Terrorism business.

As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for maintaining profitable renewal accounts, assisting in the achievement of financial plans and business strategies, and driving new business through active prospecting and broker engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite insurance products and grow the portfolio of our Property and Terrorism business
  • Maintain profitable renewal accounts and assist in achieving financial plans and business strategies
  • Drive new business through active prospecting and broker engagement
  • Develop cross-product team culture and instill a can-do attitude across the MAD team
  • Lead the team and MAD Value Proposition in external engagements with our broker partners and clients
Requirements
  • Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Business Degree, or relevant Insurance qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' underwriting experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Extensive experience and knowledge across Property products
  • Analytical skills and ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks within designated authority
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, brokers, agents, and Chubb personnel
