Role Overview

As a highly skilled System Engineer, you will design, implement and maintain complex computer systems. This role involves collaborating with the support and development teams to solve deploy and maintain cloud-based and on-prem solutions. You will take ownership of hosting or server-side issues researching diagnosing troubleshooting identifying and documenting solutions. Additionally, you will perform server-side application management including upgrades updates patches and smoke testing. You will also provide support for customer's infrastructure and products executing system management changes updates to configuration files. Furthermore, you will diagnose and resolve problems in high-throughput web applications and network services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the support and development teams to solve deploy and maintain cloud-based and on-prem solutions.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or related studies.
  • Minimum of 1-year related working experience.
  • Senior roles are available for those with more experience.
  • Experience with Linux environment and excellent knowledge of Linux commands.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and DevOps is an added advantage.
  • Excellent customer service skills including direct interaction with users assertiveness and perseverance to follow issues to closure.
