Financial Governance Analyst Role

This position is responsible for supporting the team in ensuring effective governance activities are in place over financial reporting processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR): Support the periodic financial controls self-assessments on ICFR of all Singapore entities.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform the review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accounts are supported with appropriate documents.
  • Financial Closing Certification: Manage the quarter financial certification process and highlight non-compliance issues.
  • Proper Governance: Drive other adhoc governance related activities, including third party due diligence review, journal review, etc.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in an insurance company or financial sector.
  • Qualified CPA with degree in Accountancy or ACCA.
  • Good knowledge of internal control principles and risk management practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills.
