Overview

The role of a Senior Audit Professional is to provide high-quality assurance services to clients in the venture capital and private equity sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing comprehensive audit processes for various fund structures, including Venture Capital firms.
  • Reviewing and evaluating fund accounting processes, NAV calculations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting risk assessments, developing audit programs, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinating with fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers to ensure smooth execution of audit tasks.
  • Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to stakeholders, including senior management and investors.
  • Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualifications such as SG CPA, CPAA, ACCA, or equivalent. They will also possess comprehensive knowledge of fund structures, investment products, and financial instruments, as well as proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements and SFC regulations.
  • Experience with automated audit tools and data analytics.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

Additional Requirements:

The successful candidate will be immediately available and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
