This role involves conducting NGL market research and analytics for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables.
- Key responsibilities include staying abreast of upstream, crude oil, and refined product market trends, trade flows, pricing, general market dynamics, and individual company analysis.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for NGL supply and demand modeling, building and maintaining models for existing products and new services.
- Assisting in developing market presentations by obtaining existing content and creating updated content as required.
- Maintaining data in models and databases to be used by the team for internal and external deliverables.
Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or economics, with previous experience in NGL or energy-related fields being a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the goals of the LPGs/NGLs team and the Oil, Fuels & Chemicals Research & Analytics business by producing country-level and regional NGL supply, demand, and price outlooks.
The successful applicant will assist and deliver near-term and short-term coverage supporting the trading persona across the APAC region, driving the research agenda in the APAC region in support of the trading persona, and serving clients at an elevated level with a firm understanding of our near-term and short-term content and insights covered for the Asia region and the U.S. specifically.
