Machine Learning Systems Engineer">

BJAK is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Systems Engineer to join our mission-driven team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and building intelligent systems that power our finance and insurance products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and software development, with experience in building scalable ML infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to define ML goals and technical strategies.

We are looking for a self-starter who can figure things out fast, even when there's no manual or roadmap. You should be able to move with urgency, ship fast, and improve even faster. You will also need to own problems end-to-end, from messy data to deployment, and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build scalable ML infrastructure and deployment pipelines
  • Work with product, data, and engineering teams to define ML goals and technical strategies
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models that power personalization, automation, and insight generation
  • Manage the ML lifecycle, including data pre processing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 4 years of experience in machine learning or backend software development
  • Strong Python skills, with experience using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
  • Solid understanding of ML workflows, including data cleaning, model development, tuning, and evaluation
