Technical Operations Specialist

Job Description:
">- We are seeking a skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
">- Provide technical support for exhibition setup, maintenance, and daily operations.
- Co-ordinate and assist in the setup of exhibit components, including environmental structures and visitor-interactive exhibits.
- Assist in the preparation of documents and proposals for the Museum Services team.
- Liaise with external institutions/organizations regarding exhibitions technical support.
- Set up events and exhibition programs.
- Assist during exhibition shipment load in/out when required.
Requirements:
">- A Diploma in Museum based qualifications, Technical Theatre, Fine Arts, Audio Production, Entertainment Industries, Event Management, Electronics is preferred.
- Possess a valid Work at Height certification and Scissors Lift or Vertical Platform Lift operator's license.
- At least 3 years' experience working as a technician within a museum, theatre, live entertainment, or relevant sector.
- Experience in exhibition setup and art handling.
- Familiarity with lighting fixtures, audio systems, video projection systems, and proficient in Mac & Windows operating systems.
- Good reading comprehension skills.
