We are seeking a seasoned Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join our team as a Principal Design Engineer. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive design reports, calculations, and drawings by applying engineering principles and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design Delivery: Develop and deliver high-quality design reports, calculations, and drawings that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Tender Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of tender documentations to ensure adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
- Statutory Submissions: Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory submissions to relevant authorities.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with external consultant teams, architects, contractors, and clients to resolve project-related issues efficiently.
- Education: Possess a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution and be eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
- Local Knowledge: Be familiar with local codes and authority submission procedures to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Engineering Software: Hold good knowledge of engineering design software such as Etabs, Prokon, SAFE, Plaxis, etc., to enhance design capabilities.
- Work Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in Singapore is required to apply theoretical knowledge practically.
