Job Overview

This role entails overseeing the Singapore compliance function and advising on all Singapore-related compliance and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as primary liaison to MAS, exchanges, and other regulatory bodies;
  • Research, interpret, and advise on compliance with laws, regulations, and guidance applicable to brokers in Singapore;
  • Manage implementation or upkeep of strategies and frameworks for complying with MAS and exchange requirements;
  • Assist in crafting written instructions for programmers and technology staff to facilitate changes required due to regulatory changes;
  • Draft and implement firm policies and written supervisory procedures;
  • Manage relevant regulatory inspection and audit reviews, including developing remedial action plans to address findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills;
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work independently;
  • Comfort with computers and technology, understanding of its application to business and regulatory problems;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to develop compliance solutions satisfying regulations while executing sound business judgment;
  • Collaborative work environment.
