Director of Innovation Research

A research fellow position is available at the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management. The selected candidate will work closely with professor(s) on cutting-edge research projects related to AI technological innovations, entrepreneurship, and disruptions in firms and economy.
The ideal candidate should have good programming skills such as SQL, Python, and/or Java, and be competent with statistical packages like STATA or R (STATA preferred). Skills and experience with management and strategy research, economic modeling, and statistical analysis are essential. Familiarity with data mining, machine learning, and computation techniques, especially in the context of patents, publications, citations, and networks is a plus.
Requirements
A Ph.D. degree in management/business, industrial systems engineering and management, policy, social science, or related fields is desired. Prior experience as a researcher, post-doctorate, or faculty in these related fields is a plus. Prior experience working on research projects in an academic or industry setting is also beneficial.
