About the Role

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) at the School of Biological Sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program in clinical and translational studies in acupuncture and integrative healthcare.
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Chinese Medicine, with a focus on pedagogy and curriculum design.
  • Supervise research postgraduate students and conduct research in relevant areas.
  • Contribute to the development of Chinese Medicine services and education at the university.
Requirements
  • Rich experience in Chinese medicine clinical practice and teaching.
  • A proven track record of high-quality research in the discipline, as measured by impactful publications, supervision of research postgraduate students, and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
  • Strong commitment to Chinese Medicine education, with interests in pursuing innovations in pedagogy and curriculum design.
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
Qualifications
  • A recognized undergraduate degree in Chinese Medicine registrable with the TCM Practitioners Board Singapore.
  • A relevant PhD, e.g. in Chinese Medicine, Public health.
