About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our Group Credit Policy & Governance team. As a Senior Portfolio Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key risk monitoring standards, ensuring regional countries operate within group PFS frameworks and risk appetite, and overseeing portfolio quality for regional countries.

You will also undertake strategic projects as part of our overall group retail credit and group CPG collective agenda. This includes tracking consolidated RRA and RDF metrics and credit KPIs across regional countries, performing monitoring of regional countries' portfolio, and highlighting key and emerging risks to ensure sound portfolio quality is maintained.

You will support the integration and migration of Citi portfolio into UOB under policy & portfolio management sub-stream, liaise with other sub-streams within our overall retail credit workstream, and relevant stakeholders to ensure a successful integration process.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain key risk monitoring standards
  • Ensure regional countries operate within group PFS frameworks and risk appetite
  • Oversee portfolio quality for regional countries
  • Undertake strategic projects as part of our overall group retail credit and group CPG collective agenda
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5-8 years of working experience in a retail banking role preferably in a credit risk policy, MIS, and portfolio management capacity. A degree holder with a background in mathematics, statistics, business, and finance is preferred. Familiarity with portfolio monitoring and segmentation strategy, exposure to Basel Capital Rules, credit scorecards, and analytics techniques is essential.

You should be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAS programming, Enterprise Guide, Decision Tree tools, and SQL database. Experience in a group regional role with knowledge of country business and regulatory landscape is an advantage. Analytical mind, sound business acumen, highly meticulous, and self-motivated with strong communication and presentation skills are must-haves.
