Strategic Sales Manager for Technical Solutions

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Sales Manager to lead our technical sales team in Singapore.
About the RoleThis is a senior leadership position that requires strong business acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills. As a Strategic Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives. You will lead, mentor, and manage the technical sales team to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives, leading the technical sales team to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, demonstrating deep knowledge of our products and services.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical solutions to clients.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in technical sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, lifts, escalators, and other relevant technologies.
- Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Leadership: Experience leading and motivating a sales team.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client pain points and provide effective technical solutions.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required.
- Travel: Willingness to travel locally or regionally as required.
Estimated salary: SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
