As a Mechanical Engineering Manager - Facilities and Sustainability, you will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Facilities Management.

Job Description

The ideal candidate should possess:

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver efficient and cost-effective facility management services for NCS's property portfolio.
  • Plan, support, and execute comprehensive facility management programs for all M&E systems and services of the buildings.
  • Implement preventive, improvement, and predictive maintenance programs for all M&E systems and related works to ensure availability of services at optimum function at all times.
  • Administer all contractual obligations for maintenance contracts, including facilities management, BMS/BAS, generator sets, replacement, and improvement work.
  • Prepare and manage budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) for M&E systems.
  • Supervise and lead outsourced service providers to ensure day-to-day facilities management, maintenance of systems, services, and processes are consistently kept at high standards to support operational requirements.
  • Perform technical assessments of existing installations and create long-term investment strategies.
  • Develop and implement response plans for emergency situations relating to property management.
  • Review design documents and provide input for technical options and solutions for improvement works.
  • Be a subject matter expert for mechanical-related works.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with build codes and fire regulations.
  • Strong project management and organizational experience skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable design considerations objectives, operating conditions, life cycle costs, guides, and standards such as IEC, ASHRAE, BCA GREENMARK, SS, etc.
  • Ability to monitor and troubleshoot building control systems.
  • Good customer service attributes.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perceive changing needs and environment with astuteness and rapidly formulate and implement appropriate countermeasures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
