Job Title:
Senior Operations Manager

Job Summary:
A senior operations manager is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and resolution for mechanical issues, including air conditioning and ventilation systems.
  • Review and interpret specifications, drawings, and compliance documents; ensure technical alignment with project needs.
  • Support tender processes with technical write-ups, value engineering, and presentation materials.
  • Mentor junior engineers and engage with clients and consultants to explore new project opportunities.
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, manpower forecasting, and progress tracking using MS Project software.
  • Monitor project cash flow and profit/loss statements; attend coordination meetings to address operational and site challenges.
  • Handle variance orders, subcontractor claims, and ensure adherence to contract terms and safety standards.
  • Lead site problem-solving and foster strong team collaboration and motivation.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognized by Professional Engineers Board).
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in M&E consultancy or related fields.
  • Must have strong technical expertise in air conditioning and ventilation systems.
  • PE (Mechanical) certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and familiar with project management principles.
